Travel News: Qantas Launching Non-Stop Flight from London - Australia

Qantas have announced a brand new non-stop flight from London - Perth which will become available from March 2018.
Qantas CEO, Alan Joyce said "when Qantas created the Kangaroo Route to London in 1947, it took four days and nine stops. Now it will take just 17 hours from Perth non-stop”
The 9000-mile flight will take 17 hours on-board Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.
The new service is expected to boost employment and tourism in Australia said tourism Minister – Steve Ciobo.
With 660,000 British travellers who headed down under in 2015, the UK is Australia’s 3rd largest source of international visitors.
