Irish Citizens Should Return Home
Friday, 20 Mar 2020
As flight options across the globe are becoming increasingly limited, travellers abroad are being advised to act quickly and return home as soon as possible. Citizens from Ireland on short-term visas or who are facing employment insecurity, have been advised to fly home if they can.
Whilst there are government-funded agencies available to give support to Irish people abroad, these agencies are advising that Irish citizens should check the official guidelines given by the government in the country that they are residing in. This comes as the measures being implemented in countries across the globe vary and are changing on a day-to-day basis.
