Skytrans Hand Luggage Allowance 2025:

Your hand baggage allowance depends on the type of Skytrans flight you're on:

Cape York Flights (QN flights starting with 0, 6 or 8):

  • Two carry-on items
  • Combined weight limit: 6kg

Torres Strait Island Flights (QN flights starting with 1, 2, 3 or 4):

  • One carry-on item
  • Weight limit: 4kg

Skytrans Checked Luggage Allowance 2025:

For all flights, passengers are permitted to check:

  • Up to 20kg of luggage in the hold

This applies to both Cape York and Torres Strait Island services.

Skytrans Excess Baggage Fees

Going over your allowance? Here's what you'll be charged per kilo:

  • Cape York Flights: $5.50 per kg
  • Torres Strait Island Flights: $3.30 per kg

Excess baggage travels on a standby basis and is not guaranteed on your booked flight.
