Stobart Air Hand Luggage
Stobart Air allows Flybe passengers on Stobart Air flights to carry one item of hand luggage with maximum dimensions of 55 x 35 x 20 cm (including handles and wheels), plus one small personal item. The total weight of both items must not exceed 10 kg.
Passengers on Aer Lingus Regional flights operated by Stobart Air are permitted one item of hand luggage up to 7 kg with dimensions no greater than 48 x 33 x 20 cm.
If your Bag is Overweight/ Oversized
If a carry-on bag exceeds the permitted dimensions or allowable weight, it will be placed in the airplane’s hold, and the customer will be charged standard airport charges for hold luggage (see below).
In addition to oversized or overweight bags, any carry-on item that contains sharp items must also be placed in the hold.
Stobart Air Checked Baggage
Flybe Customers:
The fees charged for checking luggage into the hold depend on the customer’s ticket type. Standard ‘Just Fly’ customers must pay for any hold luggage they check in, with the following options available if booking online (prices may be higher if booking via telephone or at the airport):
Standard, 23 kg (one item): £24
2 x 23 kg: £48
Prices are for a one-way journey.
‘Get More’ customers are allowed to check in one item of luggage at a maximum of 23 kg, free of charge.
‘All In’ customers are allowed to check in two items of hold luggage free of charge, each weighing 23 kg each.
Bags checked into the hold must not exceed 53 x 55 x 127 cm in dimension.
Stobart Air Excess Baggage Fees
Excess baggage is charged at £15 per kilo.
Exceptional Items
Exceptional baggage items, such as bicycles, surf boards or musical instruments, must be booked on board via the Flybe contact centre, or at the airport. Fees stand at £30 per item, one way, and items can only be checked into the hold providing that space is available.
Aer Lingus Regional Customers
The cost of checking a 15 kg bag on an Aer Lingus short-haul flight is €20. For a 20 kg baggage allowance the cost is €25. For 25 kg the price is €30. It costs €65 to check 40 kg across two bags. These are the prices when booking online with a saver fare.
