Sharp Airlines Cabin & Hold Baggage Allowance 2025:

Passengers are permitted a total baggage allowance of 21kg – made up of:

• 15kg checked baggage
• 6kg cabin baggage

All carry-on items must fit within the baggage gauge at check-in, including any handles or wheels.

Baggage Size & Weight Restrictions:

Each item of luggage must not exceed:

• 30kg in weight
• 750mm (L) x 450mm (W) x 500mm (H) for boxy shapes
• 2300mm (L) x 450mm (W) x 230mm (H) for elongated items

Excess Baggage Fees on Sharp Airlines

Excess baggage will be carried on a space-available basis and may travel on a different flight. Note: Extra baggage cannot be pre-purchased.

Sharp Airlines Policy on Special Items

• Golf Clubs: Count towards your 21kg allowance.
• Firearms: Accepted with trigger lock, bolt removed, in a locked case. Valid firearms licence required.
• Ammunition: Max 5kg, must be pre-approved, securely packed in a locked case.
• Musical Instruments: Only accepted if in a hard case.
• Prams: Umbrella-style prams preferred. Infants under 2 (not occupying a seat) can bring 10kg for baby items.
• Surfboards: Must not exceed 2300mm length. Fins removed if possible. Excess baggage fees apply.
• Bikes: Must be dismantled and boxed. Max 2 per flight. Bikes are not included in the 21kg baggage allowance and cost $80.37 each way (max 23kg, incl. packaging). Battery-powered e-bikes over 160WH not allowed.

Fragile, Valuable & Perishable Items

Items like laptops, cameras, and other valuables should always be kept in cabin baggage (max 6kg). These are carried at the passenger’s own risk and should be properly protected. Sharp Airlines accepts no liability for loss or damage to such items in checked luggage.

• Damaged Items: Sharp is not liable for general wear and tear, including scratches, dents, or broken handles and wheels.
• Lost Luggage: Contact Reservations. Clearly labelling your bags with your name and mobile number will help with recovery.
