There is no personal effects allowance in Argentina; all shipments going to Argentina are cleared formally. The owner of the goods should be named as the shipper and receiver. The name must also match that stated on the passport used to clear the goods. The receiver will be required to clear the items in person at a customs office in Buenos Aries. Customs may require a copy of the customs form in Spanish if the office dealing with the paperwork does not have an English translator. The receiver of the goods will be required to pay any duties and applicable fees levied by Argentine customs.

Shipments are required to be cleared within 30 days or the item(s) will be returned. If an item is returned, this can take up to 4 months.

Shipments with a value over $1000 may take an additional 24 hrs to process.

On this route you are required to visit the destination country’s official customs website and make yourself aware of any requirements, processes or fees, which may be due based on your personal circumstances and what you are shipping.
