UAE have a Minister of State for Happiness and Quality of Life. The Minister recently launched a national wellbeing strategy, set to be implemented over the next 10 years for enhancing well-being in UAE’s public and private sectors, and across national and regional communities. The goal of this strategy is to encourage healthy lifestyles, focus on mental health, and improve education, work, and culture in UAE. Quality of life was one of the factors that UAE was ranked highly for in the 2019 HSBC Expat Explorer Survey. 

Safety

UAE’s capital Abu Dhabi was ranked as the safest city in the world by global database Numbeo. In the 2019 HSBC Expat Explorer Survey, up to 83% of expats said that they feel more safe and secure in UAE than in their home country.
