New Product: Packaging Kit

If you don't have enough boxes or suitcases you can now also buy our Packaging Kit, if you have your own bags and boxes there is no need to buy a kit. If you purchase a packaging kit instead of sending your normal student baggage we suggest you choose a collection date at least one week in advance, this will allow your packaging kit time to arrive and let you pack everything before the collection date. You can of course buy a packaging kit on its own and return to make your booking at a later date.

New Service: Sendmybag.com Student Storage

Sendmybag.com student storage is here! Just like our original uni baggage service sendmybag.com student storage solves a problem which effects 1000's of students but which we believe has not been addressed.

Traditional student storage involves you taking boxes to a "drop in" storage facility near your uni and collecting them when you return for the following term. Our research showed that most students don't actually need storage during uni but at the end of university it can be a real problem deciding what to do with all your boxed up possessions. You don't want to incurr excess baggage so you might use sendmybag.com to send all the stuff home, but what's the point in sending it home when in the follwoing months you'll be moving on again starting a new job?

Sendmybag.com student storage is the answer! We will collect your boxes from anywhere in the UK on a day which suits you, the boxes will then be sent to our secure storage facility where we will store them for up to two months (you can upgrade to a longer storage period), at the end of the two months you simply tell us where to send the boxes, anywhere in the UK at no extra charge. At present to use student storage you will need to purchase a packaging kit, you may not use your own bags or boxes.

Student storage only costs £20 per box more than the traditional sendmybag.com service, in this price we include your delivery to anywhere in the UK and 2 months secure storage. We believe this offers excellent value, but if you send 3 or more items you will receive a 10% discount, further still we have teamed up with the NUS Graduate Card to offer card holders a further exclusive discount.
